Le Mariachi
Mariachi is a traditional musical style originating from Mexico, often associated with groups of musicians dressed in traditional costumes. Here are some characteristic elements of Mariachi:
-
Instrumentation: Guitars, violins, trumpets, guitarrón (Mexican bass guitar), and sometimes harps.
-
Songs: The songs performed by Mariachi bands are often rancheras, boleros, corridos, and other Mexican musical styles.
-
Costumes: The musicians usually wear traditional outfits that include embroidered jackets and pants, sombreros, and sometimes boots.
